Varalakshmi (played by Madhumitha) was riding in a van when the van was struck by another van. The villains then kidnappped her and have her bound and gagged in the van. Her hands are tied behind her back with ropes and she is gagged with a long piece of grey tape. Later she is placed in a warehouse, standing on a stool, hands tied behind her back and feet tied together, with a noose around her neck, and still tape-gagged. The rope from the noose is attached to the main door of the warehouse where if anyone tries to open the door, it will trigger the noose and suffocate her.
